The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) unit is a vital part of aircraft maintenance and repair, playing a crucial role in detecting hidden defects, cracks, corrosion, and structural damage without causing any harm to the component. All tests are performed in compliance with international aviation standards (such as FAA, ISO, NAS, EASA).

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Methods:

• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) : For detecting surface cracks in ferromagnetic components such as wheels, landing gear, and metal connections.

• Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) : For finding very fine and open cracks in both metallic and non-metallic components.

• Ultrasonic Testing (UT) : For identifying internal cracks, voids, and discontinuities in thick and structural components.

• Industrial Radiographic Testing (RT) :  Detection of internal flaws using X-rays or gamma rays in complex structures or sensitive welds.

• Eddy Current Testing (ET) : Ideal for identifying fine cracks in aluminum components and assessing subsurface corrosion.

• Visual Testing (VT) : Direct or aided visual inspection as a primary and essential evaluation method.
